While playing dragon poker Draker table on which the cards are laid out is divided into several areas:

Deck area

— here shuffled deck of cards lies face down from which the players take new cards in the start of the round or as a result of the effects.

Discard area

— there are the withdrawn cards usually face-down.

Player’s pool

— there is such zone for each player, there lay his opened cards used in the preparation of combinations.

Common pool

— open cards (usually 5 units) used for the preparation of attacking combinations by the players.

In addition to the cards on the table, each player has some cards in hand. These cards are closed to the other players, but their amount is not a secret - every player is required to report the amount of cards in his hand at the request of other players.
